A number of cities in Switzerland have ranked highly in a recent poll to find the best destinations for expatriates to move to.
Zurich, Geneva and Bern all feature on the list of top ten places in the world to live, in a study which was carried out by Mercer.
A wide selection of factors were taken into consideration in compiling the results including political, social, economic and socio-cultural and natural environments.
On top of this Switzerland scored well in areas such as education, public services, housing, recreation and consumer goods.
Vienna was found to be the best place for expats to live, closely followed by Zurich, Auckland, Munich and Vancouver.
Of all the cities in the world, which were investigated for the study, totalling 221 in all, Baghdad was labelled the worst.
Slagin Parakatil, a senior researcher at Mercer, told swissinfo.ch: "Factors such as political stability, crime levels and the quality of medical facilities have the largest weighting because they have the largest impact on daily life expatriates may encounter on an international assignment."
