Complete healthcare cover – The Primary+ Plan is based on our Select Plan without the elective services. Primary+ gives you access to your family doctor; inpatient, day patient and outpatient cover with reimbursement for specialists, physicians, chronic cover and alternative treatment (such as osteopathy, homeopathy and acupuncture).

The essential elements – The Primary Plan is aimed at covering you when you need it most. It includes inpatient and day-patient medical costs plus follow-up outpatient treatment and the Emergency Assistance and Repatriation benefits. Is your Short Term Healthcare Insurance worldwide?

Yes, our Short Term Healthcare Insurance can cover you worldwide. However, there are also the following options:

  • Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, Oceania; excluding China, Hong Kong, and Singapore
  • Worldwide; excluding North America
  • Worldwide

When should the Short Term Healthcare Insurance cover start and expire?

Cover is effective from the moment of purchasing your Short Term Healthcare Insurance policy (or you can choose a date up to 90 days in advance). The expiry date of your Short Term Healthcare Insurance cover will be the date that you select; as long as it its greater than 3 months and within 11 months of your chosen start date. The start date and expiry date of your cover will be available in your documentation.

Are Short Term Healthcare Insurance policies renewable?

No. Short Term Healthcare policies cover a specific time frame and are not renewable. However, you can purchase a new Short Term policy or International Healthcare policy to cover another period, depending upon your requirements. Either action would produce a separate and distinct policy.

Can I pay monthly or do I have to pay upfront for Short Term Healthcare Insurance?

The Short Term Healthcare plan is available as a one-off premium payment.
