A new website has been launched to help expatriates deal with all the issues associated with relocating abroad.
World of Expats provides comprehensive information on everything from reasons to move overseas to sourcing items you are missing from home and working out how much salary you can expect.
Over all there are more than 5,000 pages of content on the site and destination guides to some 176 locations worldwide.
The man behind the site is Nigel Ayres, who has been an expat himself in Malaysia, Hong Kong and California.
He is the chief executive officer and told the Argus: "I felt that existing sites did not provide the level of support that was required by a growing number of people who wanted to live or work abroad.
"The site also has advice on the issues faced by expats, tips from expats and provides tools, including property search facilities, foreign exchange functionality and many other tools to support expats in their journey."
Plans for expanding the site include integrating a social networking feature, allowing expats to communicate with each other and make new friends within the community.
Mr Ayres' ambitions for World of Expats reach even further than that with the first World of Expats Fair – Living and Working Abroad to be held in London in November.
Similar events are then planned for Birmingham and Houston, New York and Chicago in the US during 2015.
He said that the tools and services necessary for a successful relocation will be provided by the site, allowing expats to find everything they need in one place.
Mr Ayre summarised: "World of Expats is different to other providers because of the combination of the quality of the site, the comprehensive range of information provided and the link to events."
