Expatriate Health Insurance News: Is onboard flirting a good idea?

Expatriates often have to spend plenty of time flying between destinations, whether it is back home or to other parts of their adopted country.

With this in mind they are perfectly placed to judge whether the latest addition to the onboard entertainment system on Virgin America flights is a good idea.

It allows passengers to send cocktails and snacks to fellow flyers as a way of flirting with them, which is nice in theory, but the novelty may wear off for frequent travellers.

A video produced for the initiative by Sir Richard Branson suggests that it is the next best thing to wooing those who catch your eye with space travel and hot air balloons.

He said: "I'm not a betting man, but I'd say your chance of deplaning with a plus-one are at least 50 per cent."

If you want to give this risky tactic a go then the Seat-to-Seat Delivery feature is available onboard Virgin America flights from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.
