International health insurance policyholders who enjoy climbing could visit Pakistan for some of the "ultimate" experiences in the world, Climb Magazine has posited.
A spokesman for the publication pointed out that despite political instability in the country, the Baltoro Glacier region of Karakoram "is one of the ultimate, high-altitude, big-wall rock climbing destinations on Earth".
The representative said that climbers, who might find it wise to purchase global medical insurance before taking such a trip, could enjoy the famous Trango Tower or Nameless Tower, both of which offer excellent climbing sessions.
Tourists who prefer to tackle more accessible mountains could take a trip to the Alps for a long weekend or week-long holiday.
"But if you want to have an adventure of a lifetime, then you should obviously go somewhere like Pakistan or Patagonia or Antarctica or somewhere super adventurous," the spokesman added.
