An expat living in Abu Dhabi believes he may have one of the best jobs in the world.
According to the Telegraph, Andy Keeling, manager of the new Ferrari World theme park, can hardly contain his excitement ahead of the park's official opening next week.
He explained that after a series of jobs in the theme park industry that sent him to live in Holland and Germany, he jumped at the chance to take on the role of manager of the world's largest theme park, before the ground at the site had even been broken.
Mr Keeling added that while the opening has been six years in the making, being onboard from the very beginning has been a hugely rewarding experience.
"As a businessman and theme park professional, it's been great to have been here from day one, from writing the business plan to opening up. It's been a dream job," he said.
Brits considering a move abroad to the UAE should be mindful that public healthcare is limited, and as such, taking out an expat health insurance policy may help to protect newcomers from the costs of private treatment.
