British expatriates could soon be saving on utility bills

Brits recently moved to an expatriate life in Spain and used to changing energy provider will soon be able to hunt out the best deals online.

Comparison website uSwitch.com has revealed it is to launch a new service that will evaluate continental prices.

Expats living in Spain will soon be able to evaluate the competitiveness of financial products, mobile phone services and utilities companies before deciding if they want to switch providers.

Spain is the ideal place for the website’s European venture, says product and commercial director Nick White.

He noted that "Spanish consumers are receptive to the idea of switching and comparing to get the best deal" and the market currently offers "an exciting business opportunity for us".

The website has already launched its site targeted at the Spanish community (www.yoahorro.es) and says its new site, which will be planned for the large British expat community in Spain, will be found at uSwitch.es.ADNFCR-1788-ID-19295374-ADNFCR
