Brazil 'has a number of lifestyle attractions for expats'

People considering moving to a Latin American country might wish to consider Brazil because it offers a number of lifestyle attractions, it has been claimed.

According to Laura Rendell-Dunn, marketing manager at Journey Latin America, prospective expatriate insurance customers can enjoy warm weather and beautiful beaches in Brazil.

However, she said the climate and natural attractions were not the only lures for foreigners.

"Brazil is well known for its party like atmosphere, the people are very friendly, [there are] lots of street parties going on during carnival," Ms Rendell-Dunn noted.

She added that the food is fantastic in the South American nation and the friendly people could make it a wonderful place to live because "it’s nice to be welcomed by people".

As Brazil is such a huge country, Ms Rendell-Dunn claimed that all expat insurance policyholders would find an area to suit their individual tastes.

The country’s president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva recently said the government plans to build one million new homes by 2010 to help boost the economy and aid homeowners.
