What hospital networks are available to expat insurance policyholders?

Expatriate Group does not restrict policyholders to a specific hospital network. You are free to choose any doctor, clinic or hospital within your area of cover, whether that is a local private clinic, a specialist centre or a well-known international hospital. Direct billing is available at many facilities worldwide, meaning that in many cases you will not need to pay for treatment upfront and claim back the costs afterwards.

This means you are not limited to a predefined list of medical providers and can seek treatment at facilities that best meet your needs, whether that is a local private clinic, a specialist centre, or a well-known international hospital. This flexibility is particularly valuable for expatriates living in different countries or those who may relocate, as it ensures continued access to suitable healthcare without the need to change providers.

By not operating a fixed hospital network, Expatriate Group allows policyholders to prioritise quality, convenience, and personal preference when choosing where to receive medical care, while still benefiting from comprehensive international health insurance coverage.

For added convenience, we also provide a hospital list for expatriates, which highlights well-regarded medical facilities around the world and can be used as a helpful reference when seeking treatment. However, this list is not restrictive, and policyholders remain free to choose any suitable provider within their area of cover.
