Expatriates considering relocating abroad to Italy may be able to find good real estate deals in the country.
According to BuyAssociation.com editor Paul Collins, there are "bargains" to be found in the nation.
Furthermore, some parts of the market will have "motivated sellers", the expert added.
He suggested people who manage to finance their transaction with cash or from a mortgage taken out in another nation will be in a "very strong position" to purchase a house.
This is because they will not be dependent on receiving the loan in Italy, Mr Collins remarked, stating this is due to the "current economic situation".
For people in this position, it is a "great time" to invest in Italian residences, he continued.
This echoes recent statements made by Linda Travella of Casa Travella, who said there are "plenty of great value properties" in Italy at the moment.
She claimed there has "never been a better time" to buy one of the country's buildings.
