Worldwide Medical Insurance News: Buy foreign real estate 'when market bottoms out'

Expatriate overseas healthcare insurance customers ought to become familiar with the traits of overseas property markets before they become involved with them, it has been said.

Property-Abroad.com director Les Calvert claimed people should consider how the global economic downturn compares to previous recessions and find out the countries in which the markets are going to turn.

"If you are going to try and call the bottom, then it can be an excellent investment," he added.

This applies to all other markets, including stocks and shares, gold or diamonds, the expert asserted.

Mr Calvert noted expatriate property investors should only consider this advice if their purchases are solely for investment purposes and "not for lifestyle or anything like that".

Mucia-based specialist estate agent Mercers has realised the best period of summer sales for the last five years, with improved accessibility, golf, the Paramount theme-park and good prices cited as some of the reasons for this.
