International healthcare insurance policyholders looking to move abroad may want to consider Nice, as the destination has a "lot of possibilities".
This is according to marketing attache at the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Nice Jesskia Bettan, who explained the city, located in the south-east of France, offers favourable weather for the majority of the year.
The area receives "300 days of sun a year" thanks to the micro-climate created by its location between the coast and the mountains, she noted, adding this makes it an area that is "attractive all year long".
Research from The Co-operative Travel published earlier this month revealed France is also proving popular with holidaymakers at present – there has been 31 per cent increase in visits from British holidaymakers so far in 2011.
Ms Bettan stated those who consider relocating to Nice will have a wide range of attractions to enjoy, as it has a diverse mixture of museums and is a good place to learn to sail.
