Expatriate international health insurance customers who are dieting should ensure they are still receiving enough nutrients.
This is according to nutritionist Dr Sarah Brewer, founder of Natural Health Guru, who said that a person's intake of antioxidants, fatty acids, vitamins and other vital compounds must be safeguarded when they are reducing the amount of food they eat.
"A multivitamin and mineral supplement is a good idea," she declared, pointing to products such as Seven Seas Multibionta and Healthspan Gold A to Z Mutivitamins as those that should be taken.

Ms Brewer further recommended supplements of fibre and extracts of green tea "to maintain bowel regularity when eating less overall".
This follows a survey from Safefood that found 61 per cent of respondents were overweight, but only 38 per cent of people admitted to the problem.
