People considering expatriating have been reminded that there are a lot of things to consider when relocating abroad.
Rhiannon Davies, director of Shelter Offshore, advised people to work out if they are entitled to live and work in their desired country.
"They need to know if there are sufficient employment options so that if the first job doesn't work out there are others they can apply for," she explained.
Ms Davies added that it is also worth looking at how easy it will be to integrate and whether there will be any language or cultural barriers.
Looking into expatriate health insurance options is also something worth considering before you leave your home country.
Earlier this week, the NatWest Quality of Life Index showed that expatriates are enjoying the best quality of life in Canada.
