Expatriate interest in Miami property appears to be on the rise.
According to recent reports from estate agent MC2 Realty, the market is "definitely heating up".
Speaking to Overseas Property Professional, Marie-Charlotte Piro of MC2 said: "We're seeing a surge of interest from international buyers who appreciate the South Florida climate and lifestyle as well as the potential of appreciation in real estate values going forward.
"And, of course, 'location, location, location' is still the real estate mantra, with waterfront properties commanding better prices and moving at a quicker pace."
Thanks in part to the positive sales environment, the agency has managed to sell a penthouse with a sales price of almost $1 million in less than a month.
