An embassy has made an appeal for any help in finding an expatriate mother of two who has been missing from the Philippines since September.
The UK's Manila embassy has put an appeal for Carole Day on its website. The expatriate was last seen on September 12th at LRI Design Studio in Makati City and was due to fly to Phuket, Thailand that day.
However, the woman never arrived at her intended destination and flight data reveals that Ms Day has not been on any planes since then, even to return to her home in Hong Kong.
Her son, Jai Day, told the embassy: "Any details, not matter how seemingly trivial, will be greatly appreciated. We would be very grateful if you could spread the news and help us do everything we can to find her."
It is not known whether Ms Day is covered by international health insurance but officials suggest the expatriate is still in Manila.
