International healthcare policyholders who want to try somewhere different for a winter holiday should visit Morocco and its magical city of Marrakech.
According to Matt Phillips, editor of travelafricamag.com, the capital offers an incredible experience for travellers.
"Even in Djemaa el-Fna, the city's largest square and the epicentre for tourists, it is hard not to be intoxicated by the city's spirit," he said.
"The best bit is that it is not a big performance for foreign tourists – if it were, the story tellers wouldn't be speaking Arabic and the crowds around them wouldn't be primarily Moroccan."
He noted that the square becomes "another world" at night when restaurants send delicious smells into the air and the city revels in its Moroccan ambience.
Mr Phillips' remarks come as research from Experian Hitwise reveals Marrakech is among the most popular destinations for holidaymakers searching online for flights, having jumped 29 places since October of last year.
