Expatriate international health insurance customers who are thinking of relocating abroad may wish to consider mainland Spain over places such as the Canary Islands or Balearics.
San Pedro, Guadalmina and Nueva Andalucia have "a multitude of beaches, golf courses and other sunshine activities", Spanish-Living.com managing director Adrian Warriner noted.
Furthermore, "upmarket hotspots" such as Puerto Banus and Marbella are easily accessible from these towns, he added.
There is also "strong all-year-round rental potential" for property investors, the expert continued.
He claimed that some of the best locations to purchase real estate can be found in this country, as "an investor looking for a bargain" would wish to choose somewhere that has undergone the most significant price drops.
In coastal areas, the buyer "really is spoilt for choice", as the cost of a dwelling has fallen by an average of ten per cent in the last twelve months.
The Spanish government is also encouraging overseas investors to buy these assets, Mr Warriner had previously claimed.
