International healthcare advice has been dished out by one expert, who believes women must add various elements to their work-out routines if they are to successfully lose weight.
Graeme Hilditch, author and founder of fitFAQs.co.uk, said combining cardiovascular activities with weight training is the best way to help the body burn fat.
He warned that cardiovascular exercise in particular must be performed on a frequent basis for the best results.
"By mixing up a range of different exercises, the body is stimulated to burn fat – provided the exercise is performed at a middle-to-high intensity," Mr Hilditch stated.
He went on to note that ladies – including those with expat health insurance policies – can firm up any wobbly bits by tackling resistance training routines, featuring press ups and dumbbells.
The elderly were recently offered exercise advice by Alison Wyndham, founder of the Wyndham Centres, who recommended walking as the best activity for people of advancing years.
