Expatriate health insurance customers who are finding that life is getting rather stressful might want to consider talking to their doctor about techniques to help them relax.
One such method is to use visualisation, Terri Bodell, the stress doctor, has advised.
She explained the technique: "Think of your own peaceful picture and fill your mind with it whenever you are feeling the effects of stress, and this can eventually calm you down.
"No matter what type of visualisation technique you use, as long as it works for you, learn to use it regularly in times of stress."
The comments follow research from mental health charity Mind, which found that one in five people believe if they were to bring up how stressed they are at work then they would be in the firing line for redundancy.
If discussing the matter with your workplace is not an option, your doctor should be able to offer you a number of alternative ways of dealing with stress.
