Adventurous expatriates may wish to consider relocating abroad to Northern Spain.
According to Spanish Tourist Office in London director Enrique Ruiz de Lera, the region has a number of exciting activities.
It has "outstanding coastlines" and a "beautiful countryside", which can be used for swimming, cycling, hiking or walking, he continued.
The UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office pointed out that temperatures in the country can rapidly change, suggesting that people ought to be careful when hiking or walking.
Mr Ruiz de Lera called the area "rural and rustic", suggesting that it has an "evolving" cuisine, which is "modern, eclectic, fresh and regional".
Seafood, cider and local pintxos can be picked up in San Sebastian and Spanish chefs are "ruling the roost" at the moment, the representative remarked.
