Expatriate health insurance could be an important consideration for people tempted by the new properties for sale in ski village Haute-Tarentaise.
Developer MGM announced its plans to build the new properties this month (March) after the Alpine resort of La Rosiere celebrated its 50th anniversary.
The new properties will occupy the site of the sixties-build Roc Noir Hotel and will comprise 29 apartments for sale.
They will be located just 250 metres from the nursery slopes and residents will have access to an indoor pool, fitness suite, gym, sauna, Jacuzzi and steam rooms.
The resort is also well-connected for British expatriates who might be considering moving out.
Indeed, La Rosiere is just a 50-minute bus ride from Bourg St Maurice, the Eurostar destination for direct trains from London St Pancras International.
However, skiing is a risky sport and anybody thinking of moving to a resort permanently might want to look into getting their international medical insurance sorted.
