Commenting recently, Jonathan Cudworth, director of product management at the online travel agent, explained that Balkan states such as Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia are becoming increasingly popular, while more traditional non-eurozone destinations such as Egypt and Turkey are continuing to attract attention.

"The USA also continues to be a great option with its favourable exchange rate and variety of accommodation to suit all budgets with Las Vegas one of our best sellers, driven by low hotel rates," said Mr Cudworth, which may make the US market an attractive prospect for investors as well as holidaymakers.
