In recent years, there has been a strong interest in Morocco, with a buoyant tourism industry adding to economic and employment growth in the region.
Nick Leach, of Pierre and Vacances Property Investments, said: "The number of tourists visiting Morocco has grown at a phenomenal rate over the last decade, from 4.7 million in 2000 to 7.4 million in 2007."
More homes will have to be built in Morocco as King Mohammed VI is aiming to attract scores of expatriates and ten million tourists a year by 2010 as part of the Vision 2010 scheme.
"All of the Moroccans we have spoken to are really excited about the potential of their country's tourism industry," said Mr Leach.
Around 419,000 UK holidaymakers visited Morocco in the previous year, according to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
