Expatriates are almost guaranteed to bask in sunshine which allows people to take part in many outdoor events, claims a spokesperson for Propertyshowrooms.com.
Cary Johnston said: "Quality of life in Spain is second to none. The most obvious is the climate, with around 320 days of sunshine a year. Spain is very much an 'outdoor' country, which encourages outdoor living, better eating habits and sports activities like golf."
One positive aspect about moving to Spain is the friendliness of the locals who often try their best to make British expatriates feel at home, according to Mr Johnston.
"The Spanish are extremely hospitable and will warm to you even more if you make an effort to speak a few words in the local language," he added.
According to the Spanish Industrial, Tourism and Trade Ministry, UK travellers were the largest group of visitors to the country with 27.5 per cent of all tourists coming from Britain.
