There is a buzz in the property industry about the benefits of buying a home in China and expatriates should take advantage of the current state of the housing market in the Oriental country, claims Paul Collins, property editor at BuyAssociation.
"China is interesting and in terms of property investment, a country we talk about quite a lot. There are properties available and they can be very, very good for investment," said Mr Collins.
While the property market is experiencing a positive phase in China, expatriates need to be aware that there is a limit to what foreigners can buy, according to Mr Collins.
"You really are quite limited as to what you can buy as a foreigner. Usually you can only buy one property and its only certain types of property as well," he added.
The fact that China has joined the World Trade Organisation means that investors can enjoy security and confidence when buying a property in the country, according to totallyproperty.com.
