Expatriate health insurance policyholders who are staying in Singapore for the forthcoming Grand Prix should have a look around the city-state to see what other attractions it holds for visitors, the Singapore Tourism Board has suggested.
Area director for the organisation Eunice Yeo commented that the "concentration of sights, sounds, tastes, culture and attractions" makes Singapore a must-see destination for holders of overseas medical insurance policies.
"The new National Arts Gallery is also a must see - a civic and creative space, established for the enrichment, enjoyment and engagement of Singaporeans and visitors from all over the world," she pointed out, adding that the venue provides a regional cultural backdrop for visitors to gain a broad understanding of Singapore's heritage.
Ms Yeo's comments come after the city-state was named the fourth largest financial hub in the world by thinktank Z/Yen Group.
Singapore was pipped to the post by London, New York and Hong Kong in the firm's bi-annual Global Financial Centres Index.
