Ryanair abolishes airport check-ins and faces trading regulator

Budget airline Ryanair has said it will abolish airport check-in desks and will separately be quizzed by the Office for Fair Trading (OFT), it has been reported.
The move by the Irish operator will "lower the cost of flying for millions of Ryanair customers" says company boss Michael O'Leary.
According to the Guardian, the OFT will be approached with complaints about the operator's pricing scheme.
Soon all travellers will be charged £10 when they book a return journey online - even if they have no bags, says Irish paper RTE.
Ryanair and rival easyJet both attract international travellers because of their heavily discounted prices.
Both operators have different check-in procedures and insist passengers arrive sufficiently early to check in and navigate customs.
