Overseas Health insurance News: Hamburg 'boasts 7 Christmas markets'

Expatriate health insurance policyholders taking a trip to Germany over the festive period should stop off in Hamburg to see the Christmas markets.
This is the view put forward by Stefanie Raudschus, new media executive at the German National Tourist Board, who says that the seven Christmas markets in Hamburg make the city a year-round tourist hotspot.
"It is really nice for summer as well - you have got the harbour and shopping," she comments, adding that expatriate medical insurance policyholders who enjoy getting up early could also take a stroll down to the fish markets that are open every day.
Other attractions to enjoy in Hamburg include the Hamburger DOM, an amusement park and large festival combined. Alternatively, expatriates might like to visit the Hafengeburtstag; another amusement park with food, music and other attractions.
Ms Raudschus's suggestions come after figures released by Skyscanner revealed that Hamburg is a new entry in the top 100 list of flight trends, joining other German cities such as Berlin (number 24), Munich (44) and Frankfurt, 56.
