Overseas Health Insurance News: Indonesian factory protest 'sparked by expatriate comment'

Thousands of factory workers in Indonesia have set fire to cars in protest over remarks allegedly made by an expatriate company executive, Antara News reports.
Employees at the PT Drydock World Graha factory were staging a rally against a statement that they said was "insulting", the news agency stated.
Demonstrator Disra said: "An Indian company executive called us Indonesian workers 'stupid', and this made us very angry."
Local police chief Leonidas Braksan said the expatriate had been asked to leave the factory, and told the protestors that any expatriate who insulted Indonesia should leave the country, the news agency reported.
The rally follows last week's violence in the country's capital, Jakarta, sparked by a misunderstanding over the fate of a sacred tomb.
The grave of 18th century Muslim cleric Mbah Priok in Tanjung Priok port is surrounded by illegally built properties which are being targeted by authorities. But last week, residents thought the tomb was going to be demolished, which sparked riots and violence against police in the area.
