New figures 'could tempt Brits to search out expatriate living'
27/07/09 23:27
The latest figures on the British economy could be further reason for Brits to pack up and seek out an expatriate lifestyle.
Bank of England data has revealed that the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has fallen 0.8 per cent in the second quarter, which was worse than expected.
Vicky Redwood of Capital Economics said: "Overall, it still looks likely to be a long hard slog to get the economy back on track."
The Royal Bank of Scotland's Ros Walker explained that the results were "significantly weaker" than predicted.
Considering an expatriate life abroad, Brits have a world of choice and should consider reviewing the health services of each potential destination.
Instead of relying on local healthcare facilities, it may be easy for them to arrange expatriate insurance before they leave.
