Australia and New Zealand are the places to move to if you are looking for a cheap place to live.
The two countries came top of a poll from Foreign Currency Direct, which looked into the cost of living.
New Zealand came off top, with the cost of living coming in 33 per cent lower than in the UK, with Australia 22 per cent lower.
Peter S Ellis, the chief executive of Foreign Currency Direct, said: "Relative to the euro, exchange rates between the pound the New Zealand and Australian dollar have remained surprisingly attractive destinations for British expats.
"When considering a move abroad, Britons should not only consider the quality of life and cost of property overseas, they should also be aware of significant variations in the cost of living."
Other countries that came up cheaper were Italy, Cyprus and Canada, with France, Portugal and Spain coming up as costlier
