New Zealand needs to speed up its health IT reforms, official argues

Popular British expatriate destination New Zealand needs to hurry along its programme of healthcare IT reform, an expert has argued.
Zoran Bolevich, group manager of information strategy and architecture group at the ministry of health, told a recent seminar in Auckland that interoperability issues need to be solved, ComputerWorld has reported.
A consultant close the country's healthcare ministry has told ComputerWorld that it is confusing its delivery of an improved IT service.
They described the ministry as "misguided" and accused it of throwing money at projects.
"They're too removed from the coalface, introducing too many slogans like 'clinical leadership', but doing little about it," the source said.
To avoid the confusion and cover themselves for life in New Zealand, Brits may wish to consider expatriate healthcare insurance, as it is devised especially for their needs.
New Zealand recently topped a poll by Alliance & Leicester International Limited of favored expatriate destinations.
