Living abroad will help British expats survive downturn

The NatWest International Personal Banking (NatWest IPB) Quality of Life Report revealed that more than eight in ten Brits now living an expatriate lifestyle think they will be better off.

The study, undertaken by the think tank Centre for Future Studies, found Brits who had left home believed they had made the right choice.

"The overriding point is that expats are still enjoying life abroad and confident they have made the right decision to base themselves out of the UK," says NatWest's Dave Isley.

What is clear is that expatriates believe the economic issues affecting their country of choice are easier to handle because having moved, they now benefit from a better quality of life.

By having international health insurance Brits abroad can have even less to worry about, as they will get medical care of the highest standard.
