Liveability report reveals best cities for living abroad

If you are considering moving abroad then a new study could point you in the right direction.
The Economist Intelligence Unit's Liveability Ranking has compiled data on living conditions in 140 separate cities around the world and revealed some interesting winners.
Top ranked is Vancouver (Canada), followed by Vienna (Austria) and Melbourne (Australia) in third place.
Scored out of 100 - with one being intolerable and 100 ideal - Vancouver rated 98 per cent and was faulted only on its petty crime and lack of good quality houses.
Interestingly, Western Europe as a region performed best of all (92.2 per cent). North America (91.5 per cent) also fared well, far ahead of Asia and Australasia (71.7 per cent).
Would-be expatriates considering international medical insurance for their stay abroad should note that cites in sub-Saharan Africa were poorly rated in terms of healthcare.
Flying to the more far-flung destinations could soon become cheaper, Brian Pearce, the chief economist of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) has said.
