Expatriate Healthcare News: Saudi Arabia university throws doors open to expatriates

People thinking of moving abroad to pursue further education may be interested to hear that a university in Saudi Arabia has opened its doors to expatriates.
Starting this September, expatriates could take the opportunity to study at the Jeddah Community College (JCC) for associate degrees issued by King Abdul Aziz University.
Expatriates and working professionals could attend one of the eight evening programmes on offer, studying for degrees in fields such as marketing, accounting, insurance, e-commerce, pharmacy and sales.
All programmes will be taught in English apart from the sales course, which will be in Arabic.
Students on the courses will be able to obtain their three-year associate degree in two years if they can pass an exemption exam in English.
Principal of the International Indian School Jeddah Syed Masood Ahmed said the expatriate community's response to the courses offered will depend on the availability of jobs in the kingdom.
