Expat show hits Shanghai
18/09/09 17:05
Offering migrants advice on issues including finance, education and expatriate healthcare, the Shanghai Expat Show kicks off this weekend (September 18th).
To help visitors find their way around the 200 or so stalls taking part in this year's event, organisers have divided the space into four zones dealing with money issues, the home, leisure activities and lifestyle.
Held at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre over three days, additional features will include an art gallery exhibiting work by Chinese artists and a children's activity area where kids can play games and take part in workshops.
In addition to getting practical advice, attendees can also find out more about how volunteering can help them settle into an expat lifestyle in the Associations Village, featuring local charities and community groups.
Meanwhile, those who want a break from the hustle and bustle can pay a trip to the Relaxation Area for a free massage.
Registration for the show is still open and tickets are free of charge.
