24/07/09 13:28
British expatriates looking for cheap property will find it in Canada, say property experts.
According to property portal Propertyabroad.com there are significant savings to be made when looking around Quebec and Toronto.
British expatriates are already active in the market notes Les Calvert of the property group.
Mr Calvert explained that the best deals are to be found in land plots, as even with building costs included "you can have a two bedroom house or chalet for about £150,000".
British expatriates should find integrating easy as most of the population speaks English.
As well as this, Canada has a well-established healthcare infrastructure, although expatriates should consider taking out overseas health insurance.
According to visa specialists Globalvisas.com Canada is more popular than ever with Brits looking to start a new life.
