Brits need to check their route before leaving for Europe

Brits hoping to drive into their new expatriate life should take care to plan their route, warns the RAC.
According to the firm's new research, more than a third of Brits intend to drive on European roads but have no idea what to do if they have an accident.
One in ten motorists have been in a scrape when driving on European soil and 12 per cent have broken down.
Clearly the most obvious difference new expatriates will face is having to drive on the opposite side of the road.
Tim Uden a managing director at the Backpackers' Ultimate Guide, said people should pay extra attention in their first three days.
"Research the destination before travelling to make yourself aware of any local rules regarding parking and road tolls as well as road rules and unfamiliar road signs," he commented.
