Brit backpackers tempted again by Australia

British people who previously backpacked around Australia are again being tempted by the country, but this time as expatriates, the Guardian reports.
The paper claims that tens of thousands of Brits will take the step and move to the other side of the world in search of opportunity.
However, not all potential expatriates are looking for work. Study Options, a company that helps students relocate, told the paper some ex-backpackers are now professionals and are hoping to study their way through the recession.
Entry to Australia is based on a points system and is different for people with skilled trades than for applicants already sponsored by firms.
The country has a skill matching database, which helps would-be expatriates research whether their professions match those needed.
Healthcare for expatriates is provided by a mixture of public and private healthcare and can be improved by having the appropriate international health insurance.
