Brazilian property 'is attractive' to an expatriate investor

People looking to move abroad may want to become an expatriate in Brazil as the country has good investment potential, according to Property Bond International.
Clive Hawkes, director of the company, said that Brazil is becoming increasingly popular with retirees as the country has a cheaper property market and a less expensive cost of living.
"You have people going there to live, especially in retirement, because they can live very much cheaper. They can buy a nice property, they will then have a lot of money left over on their equity," he said.
Mr Hawkes went on to say that coupled with cheaper living costs, the Brazilian climate and weather was attracting people from overseas to the country's growing expatriate community.
"Their money will go further, they have the weather, and they have the beach. It is a nice way to live your life," he added.
Brazil's economy is expected to grow even during the global economic downturn, according to Mr Hawkes.
