An expatriate 'can benefit' from bargains in Dubai

It is a good time to move abroad and become an expatriate in Dubai because the property market has real bargains, according to Homesgofast.com.
Nicholas Marr, chief executive of the overseas property portal, said that people looking to buy property in Dubai are in a strong position because demand is relatively low so developers have dropped their prices.
"It's a buyer's market and developers along with private investors are offering some real bargains, however where there is demand you will once again see price rises in Dubai," he said.
Mr Marr went on to say that by investing in off-plan property people can benefit from having a home that is likely to appreciate in value every year.
"Buying off-plan allows investors to make staged payments meaning buyers can spread the cost of owning a property without a mortgage," he added.
Research by Global Realty Partners revealed that United Arab Emirates nationals accounted for 15 per cent of all property purchases in the country in 2007.
