Abu Dhabi is not demanding expats show virus card

The body charged with dealing with swine flu in Abu Dhabi has insisted it is not making expatriates prove they are free from the virus.
Dr Ali bin Shuker, director of the ministry of health and chairman of the technical health committee for combating swine flu, was quick to deny such claims branding them as "untrue".
He went on to explain that the committee had not decided to install thermal cameras and had not even included the topic on its agenda.
Currently, authorities are trying to implement a public campaign to raise awareness and provide the public with up-to-the-minute information.
'The National Supervisory Committee for Combating Swine Flu (H1N1 virus) is handling issues regarding this disease with transparency and clarity out of its keenness for the safety of the public,' he maintained.
According to the World Health Organisation, the number of infected countries is still increasing and most cases are seen in younger people.
